A muddy, unused patch beside the screen room became a clean landing with dependable footing just outside the door.

The need: Create a low-maintenance surface that meets the existing structure cleanly.
Our approach: Cleared and shaped the area, set a compact rectangular form, prepared the base, and placed the slab to shed water away from the home.
Finish: Light broom texture with hand-finished edges for everyday traction and a crisp perimeter.

Result: A practical transition area that looks intentional and is easier to keep clean.

Side-yard connection

An awkward strip of lawn was reshaped into a smooth concrete route connecting the driveway to both the side entrance door and the backyard gate.

The need: Create dependable access to two entry points without forcing a harsh straight line through the existing landscape.
Our approach: Laid out a broad curve around the planting bed, tied it into the existing driveway, and shaped the walkway to serve both the side door and gate.
Finish: Broom finish with rounded, hand-tooled edges that follow the custom shape.

Result: One natural-looking walkway that provides clean, convenient access to the home and backyard.

Large outdoor extension

A sloped backyard edge was built up into a wide, level concrete surface running the length of the screen room.

The need: Add usable outdoor space while managing the change in grade behind the home.
Our approach: Built substantial forms, placed and compacted a stone base, established drainage slope, and poured the extension in a clean continuous layout.
Finish: Uniform broom texture with defined control joints and neatly finished exposed edges.

Result: A generous patio ready for seating, grilling, or future outdoor-living upgrades.

Future shed foundation

A soft, uneven corner of the yard was converted into a stable base sized for a compact storage shed.

The need: Keep a future shed level, supported, and separated from direct ground contact.
Our approach: Selected the usable corner, excavated the footprint, prepared the base, formed the slab, and divided the surface with a centered control joint.
Finish: Durable broom finish with clean edges and slight elevation above the surrounding grade.

Result: A straightforward, long-lasting foundation ready for the homeowner’s next step.
